Silent Witness Exhibit travels to area businesses and kicks off Domestic Violence Awareness Month at Oglethorpe Mall

The silent witnesses are meant to be a powerful reminder of the vibrant lives cut short and the secret abuses that could be happening  behind the doors of family, neighbors and friends. Each represents an actual domestic violence homicide victim here in our area since 2011.  They are stark and unadorned except for a bronze chest plate bearing the woman’s name and her story.  The end is always tragic.
